You can use the app to fit the OTC hearing aid and tailor it for your hearing needs:

The battery life of the CRE-C20 OTC hearing aids is up to 28 hours with normal usage after a 4-hour charge.* A 30 minute charge will provide up to 6 hours with normal usage. If you need more time, you can charge the hearing aids on the go. A fully charged case provides three complete charging cycles for the hearing aids.
* Actual performance varies based on settings, environmental conditions, streaming, and other usage.When you’re not wearing your CRE-C20 OTC hearing aids, like when you take them out before bed, we recommend storing them in the charger. Once in the charger, the power will turn off and the hearing aids will start charging.
You will need an Apple® iPhone® device (iOS™ 13 or higher) or an Android™ smartphone (Android OS 10 or higher) with the Sony Hearing Control app installed to perform hearing aid fitting and volume adjustment.
Note: The Sony Hearing Control app version 1.1 is now available and adds support for:
- iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone SE 1st generation, iPhone SE 2nd generation
- iPhone or Android smartphones with a large display setting: If you still have an issue after updating the app to the latest version, you may be able to adjust the display settings to a smaller size to complete the setup.
While this hearing aid has an IP68 rating, which makes it water resistant to moisture, it’s not waterproof, so you should avoid submerging it. It’s best to take it out before you shower or swim.
The Sony OTC hearing aids are only able to be purchased and set up as a pair.
Your OTC hearing aid will arrive preinstalled with size S (small) click sleeves. If these aren’t comfortable, you can switch to one of the other three sizes provided (XS, M, L). Choose a smaller size if the hearing aid is pressing on your ear or a larger size if the hearing aid feels loose or makes a whistling noise. Also, your left and right ear may be slightly different sizes, so feel free to use different size sleeves in each ear. No, this OTC hearing aid will not help with tinnitus.
